Jayne Mooney is the author of Gender, Violence and the Social Order and numerous journal articles and reports in the areas of gender and crime, victimisation and anti-social behaviour.  In terms of cultural criminology, her work includes an international study on video games and cultural responses to terrorism.   Current projects focus on mass-media responses to violence and public fascination with extreme forms of violence such as serial killing.
